Record Status is the top tier disposition for a contact record within the Leadfwd platform and is essentially a classification that relates to the contact limits of your plan. Within the Leadfwd platform, only contacts set to 'Active' are counted against your total plan limit and only 'Active' contacts can be touched by the Leadfwd platform.
Status types:
-
Active
-
Unsubscribed
-
Bounced
-
Inactive
The default status that you can view records in is Active. To change the view, click on the drop down menu, select the appropriate status, then click 'Display' to the right of the drop down menu.
Active |
Contact records that are eligible for engagement and tracking by the Leadfwd platform, including Sequences, Automation Workflows, Lead Scoring, Email Campaigns, Visitor Tracking and More. If a contact record is not set to Active, then no platform feature will touch that contact. |
Unsubscribed |
Contact records that have unsubscribed and opted out from any further correspondence from you. Contacts set to unsubscribed are ignored and ineligible for engagement by the Leadfwd platform. These contacts do not count against your plan limit. |
Bounced |
Contact records that emails have been sent to but the email failed to deliver multiple times or a definitive hard bounce has occurred. Bounced records are treated like Unsubscribed records, so they are ignored and ineligible for engagement. These contacts do not count against your plan limit. |
Inactive |
Contact records that are effectively 'turned off' and will be ignored and ineligible for engagement. These contacts do not count against your plan limit. |
You can change the record status for any Contact in their Timeline Profile, using Bulk Actions in the Contact Manager or using Automation Workflows.
For example, using Workflows you may consider setting contact records to an Inactive status when a 'Not Interested' response is defined for a particular contact or 30 days after an Engagement Status of Unresponsive is applied to a Contact.
