Sequence steps are configured to trigger based on days of the week, instead of arbitrary intervals (after X days, etc.). As an example, you can reach your recipients every Tuesday and Thursday at 8:15am or Monday's at 3pm. Our approach is to ensure messages reach recipients on preferred days and times that messages are most likely to receive attention.

Setting the schedule for your Sequence is managed from the Sequence Manager view and is customized for each sequence individually. To access the Delivery Schedule click on the gear icon from the email sequence overview screen and select Delivery Schedule.

A new window will pop up and ask you to Set Delivery Interval. The delivery interval is the frequency of sends that your sequence will undertake. There are five (5) different intervals that you can select. They are:

• Once per day (Mon - Sun)

• Multiple Emails Daily (Mon - Sun)

• Once Per Week

• Multiple Emails Weekly

• Multiple Emails Monthly

Once you have selected your specific interval you will then need to setup the different parameters as they relate to the interval.

Once per day (Mon - Sun)

Email is delivered once a day at a set time in a 24 hour period. If a recipient is added to the sequence after the scheduled send for the day they will be queued up to receive their message on the following day at the appropriate time.

Multiple Emails Daily (Mon - Sun)

Email is delivered multiple times a day based on your parameter selections. We allow you to send up to five emails daily. If a recipient is added in-between intervals they will receive their appropriate message at the next interval.

Once Per Week

Email is delivered on a specific day of the week at a specific time chosen. Records that are enrolled in-between intervals will be queued up to send to at the next appropriate time.

Multiple Emails Weekly

Email is delivered several times in a 7 day period. Messages are delivered at a set time on the chosen days for delivery. Up to 5 emails may be delivered in a week. You may mix and match the days as you see fit.

Multiple Emails Monthly

Email is delivered up to 5 times a month at various intervals. Intervals and specifics are set based on days of the Week and what specific interval that day falls under. For example - Every 2nd Monday. Emails are not based on specific date/time parameters.

Enroll and Send First Email Immediately

You also have the option to send the first email in your sequence immediately to newly enrolled records. This feature supersedes the delivery interval that has been set. So even if a record enrolls after a window has passed they will still receive the first email in the sequence. All subsequent emails will be sent on set intervals. To send automatically you just need to check the box when setting your interval.
