One key feature for the Sales Inbox is the ability to show you which of your contacts responses have come from vacation responders. We all know that life gets in the way so the possibility that someone is on traveling, on vacation, or just taking a mental health day away from email isn't that far-fetched.
This does present an interesting scenario for a user with contacts that have either just entered a sequence or are in the middle of a sequence. Not to worry. One of the key features for Engage and Sales Inbox is to recognize when these scenarios pop up.

Sales Inbox will automatically flag your contacts with vacation responders and move them in to the Out of Office category. From there you will have a central view of all contacts across your various sequences that are out of the office.
If an auto-reply is detected, the record will pause their progress through any sequence(s) they are enrolled in. Based on the language used in the reply, Engage can decide when to re-start the sequence for the record.

For example, in the screenshot we can see that the contact states that they will be out of the office for several days but give a return date of February 22nd. Above in the yellow highlight we see that Engage recognizes the date and will pause the contact until the date specified. Once the date has come the contact will resume their sequence and will receive their next email per the sequence delivery schedule.
Now on the off chance that a record is flagged for a vacation responder but no return date is given, the LeadFWD account manager can set a time period before the system tries to revalidate the OOO contact.

You can change this value to be any number you deem fit.
