Every Landing Page and form must be assigned to an existing CRM or Marketing List. The list assignment informs the system as to the final location where incoming conversions should be recorded. It also determines your field mapping options on the form building step, as you'll have the option to map a form field directly to a custom field on your assigned CRM or Marketing list.

On Successful Submission
What happens after your visitor converts on a landing page is a very important step. Are they going to be redirected to a thank you page? Will the successful conversion direct to a downloadable file? Or, will you just show a simple confirmation message? That choice is yours and there is lots of room for creative thinking with these three options.
Note: You can also create an Automated Campaign that deploys an email confirmation upon successful conversion (or even a series of emails), alerts a sales agent, schedules a sales call and much more.

Step #6. Build your form
Our drag and drop form builder makes it quick and easy to assemble a custom form to include on your landing page.
Adding Fields to your Form
Simply select a desired field from the left tool panel and drag it to the form canvas on the right preview column. You can position your field in any order you wish by simply dragging it up or down vertically.

Customizing your Fields
Once you add a field to the canvas, a field customization area will appear in the left tool panel. Each field contains its own customization parameters that are controlled on a field-by-field basis. These parameters include:

Field Label
The field label serves as a title for your field and appears above each form field, above the optional field description.
Map Field to
Form field values can be mapped to existing custom fields that are contained in the assigned CRM or Marketing List for your landing page. This is an optional parameter and any fields that are not mapped to a custom field are still stored and associated with the record that converted, but its not saved as an actionable custom field. Custom fields are very valuable for both Lead Scoring (Scoreboard) and Automated Campaigns. Since you're not restricted to any fixed number of custom fields, we recommend that all form fields be mapped to a custom field as a best practice.
Field Description
The field description appears beneath the field label / title and above the actual form field. It's a great place to describe exactly what information you're requesting and why you're requesting it.
Default Value
You can specify a default value to be shown in your form field. This can be helpful with establishing the format that you wish your visitor to follow or simply making it easier for your visitor to convert, if you know a certain value is most likely to be entered by the visitor anyway.
Required Value
You can specify which form fields are optional and which are required. If a field is required, it must contain a value before the visitor will be able to successfully submit the form.
Limit
By selecting this option you limit the number of times the form can be submitted by an individual visitor or lead to one time.

Once you add a field to the canvas, a field customization area will appear in the left tool panel. Each field contains its own customization parameters that are controlled on a field-by-field basis.
