Images and Emoji's are a fun way to help convey additional emotion to any message. Below is how you can add either to your email steps in Engage.
Add an Image
Adding an image to your email is a nice way to help spruce up the message or add some additional context to what you're conveying. The process of adding an image to your email is a simple one. Simple click on the Add Image button in your toolbar. You'll then be prompted with your Asset Manager.
Once you're in the Asset Manager you can choose from an existing image or upload a brand new one. Once you select an image you will have several different options that you can choose. These include:
Choose Resized Image
Choose Image - Takes the image you have chosen and places it in the email message
Choose Resized Image - Takes the image you have chosen and allows you to select a different set of preset dimensions based on the image's original size. The image will be inserted in to your email body with the version of new dimensions. The options include a proportionate version of:
Custom - choose your own Height and Width
Upload - Choose a file from your computer to upload
View - View the image in your current browser
Download - Download the image from the Asset Manager to your computer
Edit - Use an assortment of Photo Editing tools to enhance and transform your image
Copy - Make a replica copy of the image. Saves to your library
Move - Allows you to manage and move asset between different subfolder of library
Rename - Change the file name
Delete - Erase the file from the library
Edit an Image
If you choose to Edit your image, you will be taken to a new screen with some basic photo editing tools and features that you can make use of.
The different tools that we offer you to use include:
Resize - change the size of the image. Customize the Width and Height dimensions. There is also an option to keep the pixel aspect ratio.
Crop - Alter the image to remove areas that are not needed
Rotate - Rotate the image 90 degrees
Adjust - Change the various color settings related to the image. These include Brightness, Contracts, Saturation, Exposure, Sepia, & Sharpen.
Presets - Layer a preset filter over your image to change the look and feel automatically.
Once you are done editing your image click on the Save button. If you decide that you want to revert the image back to its original state click on Reset. After that click on the back arrow to go back to the Asset Manager
When you're ready to make your selection click on the Choose option in the toolbar. This will bring you back to the Image Properties screen where you will see all the basics of your image. If everything looks good to you then click on the OK button which will now place your image.
Add an Emoji
To add an emoji to your message simple click on the emoticon drop down from the email editor. From you can select from a wide array of available emoticons.
To add an emoticon to your email subject you will need to copy & paste the emoji in to the text area of the subject.
