LeadFWD Admins and users with access to the Engage Sequence Manager can decide on elements of opt-out management for their recipients
This article covers:
Sequence Options
Recipients of emails from Engage have the ability to opt out or unsubscribe from the correspondence just like they would for any other type of email campaign. LeadFWD has made it possible to decide what type of opt-out is possible on a per campaign basis. This will allow users and organizations to better manage funnel and list hygiene.

When setting up a sequence there are several unsubscribe and opt-out options that are available.

Depending on how you decide an unsubscribe should be read will decide how the record is affected.
If you choose to only end the sequence upon an unsubscribe registering then the record will be removed from the sequence. Any additional emails that they were expected to receive will not be sent moving forward. The record will not be unsubscribed from your lists or reflected as an opt-out in LeadFWD or any CRM integration you may have.

Now if you choose to End the sequence and set status to unsubscribed you will have a few more options available to you.

You have two (2) additional options: Set status as opt-out in CRM & Add recipient to Global Suppression List.
Setting the status to opted-out in the CRM will update the primary email address field for the record to show an opted out action.

Checking off the global suppression list checkbox will add the unsubscribed email to the global suppression list in LeadFWD. Emails added to the global suppression list will automatically be marked as inactive should the record with the email live in multiple lists across the platform. Users can access the Global Suppression List by going to Settings --> Email --> Global suppression.

Custom Unsubscribe Messages
When a user composes an email in the email compose drawer, the user has an option write a custom unsubscribe or opt-out message for the recipient. To access box click on the unsubscribe options icon on the footer of the message.

Once clicked a dialogue box will appear and allow the user to create a custom unsubscribe message. The only parameter is that the text inside the [...] will be the link to redirect to the opt-out page.

Any custom unsubscribe message created will only show in the sequence it has been created in. This allows the organization greater control over the messaging presented to recipients of Engage emails.
