🚧 Built-In Safety Settings – Leadfwd

There's a lot of varying information around how many requests and actions you can do with your LinkedIn account on a daily basis. This is true no matter how you use LinkedIn - manual or automated. Its important to limit engagement and activity within your LinkedIn accounts to prevent your LinkedIn account from being temporarily blocked or suspended.

Daily Usage Limits

Based on feedback from industry experts and our own internal experimentation, we've put together a basic summary of what best practice looks like. These limitations are effectively built into Leadfwd and we even expanded upon them to help further protect accounts.

An action includes viewing a profile, sending a connection request or sending a message. We do not recommend that you exceed these thresholds as you will risk ending up in LinkedIn jail.

Every profile saved, creates a profile view event

It is also important to understand that each LinkedIn profile you select to Save and Enrich with Leadfwd Prospector, will create a 'profile view' from your LinkedIn user. For most sales professionals this is an added benefit, as their outreach will have more credibility if the prospect can see that they viewed their LinkedIn profile.

Politeness built-in

In between each profile save and enrichment request, Leadfwd automatically adds a random delay up to 2 minutes. This is to simulate human behavior and to also not be annoying to LinkedIn.

Daily limit with auto-resume

Leadfwd will monitor your engagement and activity on LinkedIn (using Sidebar) and once you reach your daily limit, all activity will be paused until the following day. If you're in the middle of processing and saving your prospect list, Sidebar will pause in its current place and automatically resume the following day. Automated LinkedIn tasks can be resumed the following day as well.

If you have a premium account, please enable the setting within Leadfwd Sidebar as it will raise your maximum daily limit to 250 for profile saves/enrichment.

You can monitor your daily activity count and individual requests by navigating to Settings and then selecting 'Sidebar usage log'.
